I tried my 5G network on channel 36, trying the DNS settings again too. I called Roku support and they didn't know **bleep**. Someone said it might be because of roku not working with WPA2-PSK, well I made a guest network with the channel 11 and DNS stuff and no security and it still didn't connect.
Your response regarding Roku not connecting via a wired connection, providing a link you suggest will help, was a farce. The link speaks to wireless connections not working - NOT a wired connection. The brief section on wired connections merely tells the reader that a wired connection gives better access.
